Victoria Venier is a multi-talented singer/songwriter who is originally from the historic town of Dixon, Illinois. Staying in the heartland, she attended college at Millikin University where she was an honors graduate in Commercial Music Performance. She began her professional career at Busch Gardens (Tampa), where she sang, danced and served as vocal director of shows for three years. In pursuit of her lifelong dream of being a recording artist and songwriter, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to begin that journey. She has been seen and heard on the many stages of Opryland USA and on the General Jackson Showboat.
In the recent past, she has been featured at many of Nashville's hottest music clubs, including the world renowned Bluebird Cafe. In addition, she has been a guest on the Grand Ole Opry and has performed with such artists as Brenda Lee, Loretta Lynn, Joe Diffe, Sandy Patti and Michael English.
Currently, Victoria continues as a professional songwriter/artist. Her original works have captured the attention of artists such as Alison Krauss, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride & The Backstreet Boys...as well as music supervisors for film and television. She has had singles released by other artists in Canada and Japan as well as here in the USA.
Never sitting still, Victoria is currently touring with various groups and spending a lot of time writing and recording. In addition, she serves as staff music director for Matt Davenport Productions. She is also doing many tour dates with her band to promote her cd. Sometimes, you can even catch her in the national tour of American Big Band. When she's back in Nashville, she's busy writing that next big hit...or recording it. While free time is something she doesn't get a lot of, she does enjoy rollerblading, Taekwondo and her many animals...which includes her Siberian Husky "Rascal".
